Look, living in Alaska means you need to keep lots of blankets on hand for that coverage at any given frozen moment. It gets COLD here. And no matter how warm you attempt to keep your house, when the heater isn’t running, you feel that temperature change.
We keep our home cooler than most, but that is because we don’t want the HUGE electric and natural gas bills that usually accompany higher thermostat settings.
Blankets are a quick and cheap way to warm up a cold body. And keep it warm. Add some coffee and a good show or book and winner winner chicken dinner!
Today, especially today, I am thankful for blankets.
